She is survived by: her children, Chris Church (Wendi), Marsha Benge, Jennifer Tolbert (Greg) and Amy Coffey; her brother Kenneth Melton (Lynda); her grandchildren, Seth Church, Kalee Church, Micah Church, Michael Griffin (Cory), Jace Griffin, Justin Griffin, Kristen Tolbert and Megan Hicks (Billy); her great grandchild Edith Laney; and her pets, Lady and Rusty.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (1545 Orchard Dr, Lenoir, NC 28645).
