He is survived by: his mother Lola Hamm; his son Josh Grant Hamm of Lenoir; his sisters, Diane Moretz (Jerome) of Lenoir and Lori Cheek (Terry) of Nebo; and his granddaughter Natalie Hamm of Lenoir. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
