He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Lee and Nina Kathleen Carlton Barnes; his son Antonio Deshawn; and his siblings, Grace Barnes and Anthony Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Percy Tirrell Dula (Jeanne), Alysia Crowe, Zandra Anderson and Kena Bennett; and his sister Cynthia Barnes Taylor. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
