Peggy Helton Greene Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Helton Greene of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Helton and Pearl Woods Helton; her husband William Dillard Greene; and her brother Jerry Helton. She is survived by: her children, Alan D. Greene, Bryan E. Greene (Kim), Ryan K. Greene (Tammy) and Debra G. Lee of Lenoir. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Brian Smith and Rev. Joel Bixler, face masks and social distancing will be required.
