She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey L. Snyder and Launa McNabb Snyder (Abbie); her former husband Johnson "Pete" Thomas, Sr.; her husband Ralph C. Fowler, Sr.; and her brothers, Joe Jack Snyder, Jerry Snyder and Rev. Sam Snyder.
She is survived by: her son Johnson Thomas, Jr. (Pam) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Thomas B. Thomas (Heather) of Catawba County and Sara K. Thomas of Madrid, Spain; her great grandchildren, J. T. Thomas and Cooper Thomas; her brother Keith Snyder (Francis); and her stepchildren, Carolyn Fowler Teeters (Michael) of Morganton and Ralph Fowler, Jr. of Granite Falls. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
