It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Lynn Swanner of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Datus Wesley Smith and Bergie Crisp Smith; and her husband Robert Lee Swanner. She is survived by: her sister Pamela Smith Szczerba; her nieces and nephews, Lisa Shuford, Crystal Swanner Sopalalla, Dorian Swanner, Dustin Warren and Joshua Swanner; her siblings-in-law, Ruby Swanner Nesbitt and Ronald Nesbitt; and her great-nephew Michael Walden.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to College Avenue Baptist Church or the Children's Home Society.
