She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Moore and Bertha Deal Moore; her husband Archie Arthur Corpening; her children, Jonathan Corpening, Melvin Douglas Corpening, Arthur Eugene Corpening, Isiah Hood, Joyce Corpening and Juristine Caldwell; and her siblings, Lloyd Moore, Ambus Moore and Elizabeth Moore.
She is survived by: her children, James Corpening of Statesville, Michael Corpening (Jennifer) of Lenoir, Bishop Jackie Corpening (Tammy) of Georgia, Rose Marie Hood of Lenoir and Corinthia Dula of Lenoir. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
