He is survived by: his children, Steve and Banking Officer; his wife Irene Adams Curtis; his children, Stephen Roy Curtis (Anne) of Caldwell County, Karen Curtis Stroup (Walter) of Caldwell County and Norma Curtis Harless (Roger) of Caldwell County; his grandchildren, Joshua Curtis (Aura) of Charlotte, Jonathan Curtis (AdriAnne) of Sanford, ME, Beth Bumpus (Scott) of Asheville, Timothy Harless (Kasi) and Devin Harless of Lenoir; his great grandchildren, Ivy Irene Curtis of Sanford, ME, Christopher, Amber and Ryan Bumpus of Asheville; his siblings, Gene Curtis of Lenoir, George Curtis of Lenoir, Mary Bell Curtis Wilkins of Durham and JoAnn Curtis Edmisten of Morganton; and his parents-in-law, Wiley, William Adams, Grace Townsend and Doris Greene Church.
