He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Trula Meadows and Betty Byrd; his wife Carol Elizabeth Byrd; his children, Tim Byrd (Michele) of Clayton, Tommy Byrd (Tammy) of Deep Run and April Byrd Bilodeau (Marc) of Pink Hill; his great grandchildren, Harrison Byrd (Amelia Ferrell-Byrd) of Goldsboro and Grayson Byrd of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Brittany Wade (Adam) of Kinston, Hunter Byrd (Cole) of Goldsboro, Danielle Heath (Allen) of New Bern, Justin Anderson of Raleigh, Amber Shivers (Jaxson) of Pink Hill, Hailey Gibbons and Nyckolai Bilodeau of Pink Hill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
