She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Corbin Smith and Sarah Ida Bolick Smith; her husband Dewey Wayne Mullinax; and her siblings, Stanley Smith (Yvonne), Clyde Smith, Gladys Greene (Lonnie), Mary Turner (Vance) and James C. Smith (Jim).

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Mullinax Swanson (Todd Swanson) of Granite Falls, NC and Debra Mullinax Sanders (Greg Sanders) of Wake Forest, NC; her grandchildren, John Paul Cochran, Grace Cochran, Hannah Robinson (Steve), Andrew Swanson and Sarah Swanson; her great grandchild Judah Robinson; and her sister-in-law Jeane Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
