It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Winkler of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nell Winkler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Seafus Walker and Lela Jane Medlock Walker; her husband Robert Clifford Winkler; and her siblings, Lewis Edward Walker, Lawrence Wilson Walker (Jim), William Franklin Walker, Ann Lou Walker Ferguson and Grace Leona Walker Walsh.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Janelle Winkler Pritchard and Robert Keith Winkler; her grandson James Holden Pritchard; and her siblings, Lloyd Thomas Walker (Dodge), Vinnie Mae Walker Andrews and Faye Elizabeth Walker Spears.
Due to Covid-19, the family respectfully requests that all in attendance wear face masks and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Nell's memory be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street NW Lenoir, NC 28645.
