He is survived by: his mother Doris "Dottie" Mikeal of Lenoir; his wife Andrea Wall Steele; his stepmother Gwen Steele of Lenoir; his children, Devin Steele of Lincolnton, Aaron Steele of Lenoir and Emma Steele of Lenoir; his stepsons, Preston Page of Hickory and Phillip Page of Granite Falls; his sister Shonia Tidwell (Philip) of Lenoir; and his grandson Mikeal Steele of Lincolnton. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
