It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael David Hensley of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Hensley and Annie Hensley; his brother Floyd Hensley; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Hensley and Lloyd Barlowe; and his great-nephew Jesse White.

He is survived by: his sisters, Watha Kendrick (Sherrill) of Granite Falls, Barbara Barlowe of Lenoir and Saundra Welch (David) of Brandon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
