She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Harris and Zina Soots Harris; and her brothers, Vernon of Cecil, L. C., Bruce, D. A. and J. W. Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Lee Brown; her daughters, Elaine Brookshire (Jimmy) of Lenoir and Cecilia Bowman (Rick) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Ami Brookshire, Jeremy Brookshire, Christopher Bowman, Brittany Callahan, Nicole Wolfe, Kristina Hefner and Jessica Bowman; and her sister Nellie Prevette. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amorem Hospice in Hudson at 526 Robbinswood Place, Hudson, NC 28638 or to Storehouse Food Ministry at 2607 Western Ct.
