She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Ingram and Flossie Ingram; her husband Douglas Smith; her siblings, Mildred, Darlene Ingram, Roy and Willie Ingram; and her sons, Jerry Junior Beaver and Garland Lee Beaver.
She is survived by: her brothers, Arthur Ingram and Roby Ingram; her children, Sherry Prestwood, Floyd Beaver and Chris Beaver (Monica); her grandchildren, Christopher Beaver, Jamie Beaver, Josh Adkins, Nick Beck, Marie Prestwood, Bruce Prestwood and Edie Prestwood; and her uncle David Arnett. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Haven Cemetery (3599 Still Meadow Way, Lenoir, NC 28645).
