She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Boone Hodge and Daisy Maebell Hodge; her husband William Avery Tolbert; her son-in-law Dick Benton; and her siblings, WillieMae Hodge Harmon, Betty Hodge Hawkins and Paul Hodge.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lucille, Linda Tolbert Benton of Greensboro, Cathy Tolbert Mitchum (Bill) of Greenville and Kimberly Tolbert Stanbury (Edgar) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Brad Benton (Rachel), Will Benton (Kerri), Jiles Stanbury (Shanon) and Zachary Stanbury (Tiffany); her stepgrandsons, Mitch Mitchum (Wendy) and Todd Mitchum (Farrah); her great grandchildren, Emma, Gracie, Landon Benton, Marlee, Leah, Summer, Ryder Benton, Abagail, William Stanbury, Avery, Ethan and Alison Gentry; and her stepgrandchildren, Will, Emily, Gray and Faith Mitchum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as, her beloved dog.
