She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Eugene and Vernie Adkins Winkler; her husband Robert G. McNeil, Jr.; and her siblings, Sybil Laws, Margaret Winkler, Wilda Smith and Charles Winkler.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Eugene McNeil (Amy) of Lenoir, Brenda Hodges (Gene) of Lenoir, Kathy Robinson (Robbie) of Marion, Deborah Graham of Lincolnton and Angela Puac Puac (Fernando) of Lenoir; and her siblings, George Winkler of Graham and Barbara Carswell of Lenoir. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 social distancing and face masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers the family requests the memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Whitnel, 1201 Connelly Springs Road, Lenoir, North Carolina, 28645.
