She is survived by: her children, Debra Houston (Vance) of Spruce Pine, Vickie Holsclaw of Spruce Pine and James Hodge (Angela) of Hudson; and her siblings, Paul Everhart of Hickory, Buddy Everhart of Hickory and Beatrice Speagle. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
