She was predeceased by: her parents, George Crump and Millie Pierce Crump; her husband Joe Hoover; her son Gary Hoover; and her sister Ruth Anderson.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Angie Hodges (Jeremy) of Winston-Salem and Jessica Woodruff (Jon) of Lenoir; and her great grandchildren, Ally, Kennedy, Bella Hodges, Addison and Cohen Woodruff.
