It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Helton Walsh of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Helton Walsh to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Helton and Veda Walker Helton; her husband Robert E. Walsh; her children, Patricia Walsh Wakefield and Roger Eugene Walsh; and her grandson Preston Wakefield.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Walsh (Teresa) of Lenoir, Rita Walsh of Lenoir and Larry Wakefield of Lenoir; her brother Bill Helton (Linda); her son-in-law Larry; and also, Donavan, Derek, Alan, Brandon and Landon. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 social distancing and masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that the memorial contributions be made to, Cedar Rock Baptist Church, 306 Wildwood Road, Lenoir, North Carolina, 28645.
