It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Blake Soots of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Blake; and her former husband Terry Soots. She is survived by: her mother Dollie Bean Blake of Lenoir; her children, Teresa Wilkins (Joel) of Granite Falls and Jerry; her fiancé Mitch Crisp; her siblings, Beatrice Phelps (Keith) of Lenoir, Jimmy Blake (Cynthia) of Lenoir, Mike Blake (Donna) of Lenoir and Martha Ford (Mark) of Lenoir; and her grandchildren, Tristian Carlton (Ciera) of Hickory, Caleb Cox (Savannah) of Hudson, Lucas Hartley of Tennille, Georgia and Shikidra Wilkins of Morganton. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
