She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Lackey and Pearl Coffey Lackey; her former husband Travis Johnson; her husband Jimmie Rose; her brothers, Gerald Lackey and Dolan Lackey; her son-in-law Richard Cole; and her granddaughter Kim Whitener.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Johnson (Linda) and Betty Johnson Cole; her sister Ann Lackey Hatton; and her grandchildren, Mary Louise Johnson, Adam Hatton (Jessica), John Strum (Chanla), Candi Terry (Stephen) and Travis Cole (Kaitlyn). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
