She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Fox Whitehead and Millard Eley Whitehead; her sister Millison W. Patton; and her cousin Louise McCall Sheets. She is survived by: her husband Hugh Mal Wilson; her children, Karen M. Wilson (Roger Grippe) of Winston Salem, Lynne W. Chambers (Ken) of Raleigh and Robert H. Wilson (Jennifer) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Michael Chambers, Andrew Chambers and Alison Chambers; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Grippe and Hudson Smith; her brother Eley Whitehead of Murfreesboro; and her cousin Dr. Charles McCall of Winston Salem.
