She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred T. Simmons and Leona Smith Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Marcus H. Sullivan; her daughter Marcella Sullivan of Sawmills; her brother Ronnie Simmons (Ann) of Hudson; and her grandchildren, Melissa Greer (Jason) of Hudson and John Triplett of Hudson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be private at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Lenoir. Due to COVID-19 masks and social distancing will be required.
