She was predeceased by: her father J. H. Young Sr.; her husband Robert Andrew Walker; and her brothers, James Young and George Young. She is survived by: her nephew Ronnie Setzer (Debbie) of Lenoir; her niece Jill Setzer of Lenoir; and her siblings, Robert E. Young of Marion and Juanita Westbrook of Raleigh.
