She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Garrett and Christine Denny Garrett; her daughter Joni Church; and her brother Wayne Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Church; her daughters, Barbie Church Turnmire (Tony) of Lenoir, Jennifer Church of Lenoir and Samantha Church of Lenoir; her siblings, Mary E. Cale (Darren) of Hickory and Dewayne Garrett of Lenoir; and her grandchildren, Matthew Turnmire, Jazmin Church and Amy Turnmire.
