It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Carswell in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Johnson; and her husband Ralph Carswell. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Carswell Pennell (Mickey) and Eddie Carswell (Robin); and her grandchildren, Jason Pennell (Brandi), Jarad Pennell (Brooklyn Hood) and Kaylin Safriet (Jason). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
