We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2023, at the age of 95, Margaret Elizabeth Hartley of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clarke and Birdie Wilson Clarke; her husband William Clell Hartley; and her siblings, Earl Clarke, Mildred Pritchard, Ruth Rader, Roy Clarke, Ruby Pritchard, Frances Mikeal, Fushia Gragg and Inez Beane.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah McGalliard (Joseph), Emily Hartley and Brent Hartley (Ginny); her grandchildren, Len Beane, Rusty Greene, Elizabeth "Beth" Hartley and Madeline Medlock; and her great grandchild Landon Hartley-Hargis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
