With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Magdalene Setzer McDonald of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Setzer and Edna Setzer; her husband Alvin Blain McDonald; and her siblings, Rosalee Bussel and Junior "Jim" William Setzer.
She is survived by: her children, Lillie McDonald Spears (Lowell Spears) and Walter "Buddy" Blain McDonald (Brenda McDonald); her grandsons, John McDonald (Donna) and Tim McDonald (Elechia); and her great grandchildren, Rylee McDonald and Dylan Pruitt.
