It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Barlowe of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luther Barlowe to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Sophia Mae Triplett Barlowe; his siblings, Mary Jo Barlowe, Rebecca Barlowe, Patricia Day, Audrey Younce and Robert Barlowe; and his granddaughter Jaime Lynn Faw.
He is survived by: his wife Deena Shell Barlowe; his daughter Angela Barlowe Faw (Calvin) of Lenoir; his granddaughter Dawn Faw Query (Justin) of Granite Falls; his great grandchildren, Adaleigh and Amelia Query; and his siblings, Roy Franklin Barlowe (Shirley), Johnny O. Barlowe (Mavis), Michael L. Barlowe, Dorothy Barlowe Bolick (Robert), Lynn Barlowe Isaccs (Hal) and Tammy Barlowe Teeters (Kenneth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park conducted by Rev. David Bean and Rev. Calvin Faw.
