With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lowell Ernest Harwood of Lenoir, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Harwood and Lois Berry Harwood; his brothers, Clarence Harwood, Norman Harwood and William Harwood; and his nephew Tim Harwood.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Harwood (Leslie) of Lenoir, Glenda Harwood of Lenoir and Willa Dean Lingerfelt (Roy) of Lenoir; his children, Gary (Benjamin Adams, Jr.), Catina Moore (Bobby) of Lenoir and Tonya Enloe (Scott) of Lenoir; the mother of his children Reba Baldwin; his grandchildren, Kyle, Taylor, Jordan, Aaron and Dace; and his cousin Horace Harwood (Dorothy).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hibriten Baptist Church, 312 Hibriten Mountain Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
