He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hodge and Mary Alice Fritz Hodge; his son Bryan Hodge; and his sister Jean Mericle. He is survived by: his wife Janet Helton Hodge; his stepsons, Lee Greene and Jeff Greene (Debbie) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Ryan Ellison, Haley Greene, Justin Greene and Logan Greene (Tiffany); and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Everett Greene, Trinity and Christopher Ellison.
