She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Hall Hicks; and her siblings, Gladys Hamby, Clennis Hamby, Eulalya Hamby, Arlene Hicks, Sanford Hicks, Doyle Hicks and McDonald Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Ellis (Frank), Wanda Watson (Jeff) and Roy Bryant Jr. (Luzviminda); her grandchildren, Chasity, Jesieryl, Alfonso and Travis; her great grandchildren, Kelly, Sarah, Mya and Charlotte; and her sisters, Mavis Haigler (Walter) and Barbara Graybeal.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Amorem Hospice 902 Kirkwood St NW, Lenoir, NC.
