It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd James Watson of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Pitts and Mary Ruth Wilson Watson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Watson; his children, Chris "CJ" Watson (Taylor Watson) and April Hodge (Scott Hodge); his brother Richard Ray Watson; his grandchildren, Andrew Watson, Noah Watson, Makayla Hodge and Brittany Markum; and his great grandchild Maggie Anne Watson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Miller Hill Baptist Church.
