He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Holsclaw and Johnsie White Holsclaw; and his siblings, Bobby Holsclaw and Carolyn Murphy. He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Clippard (Raymond Hoskins); and his granddaughter Caroline Clippard (Hector Crespo-Soto).

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Amorem Hospice, The Jack and Shirley Robbins Center, in Hudson, NC.
