With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Prestwood Yount of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Jerome Prestwood and Doris Brown Prestwood. She is survived by: her husband Vernon E. Yount; her daughter Lori Yount Sullivan; her son-in-law William Dent of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Emily Isabelle Sullivan and William Eli Sullivan; and her brother Dewey Alan Prestwood (Chiquita T.).

Memorials may be made to Amorem Hospice, 525 Pine Mtn.
