She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Brackett and Lula Guffey Brackett; and her husband Robert Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Robert Stewart of Lenoir and Jennifer Carroll (Jason) of Lenoir; her sister Lucille Cook of Dallas, NC; and her grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Josie and Jordan Carroll.
