It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lilly Spearman Doyle (Lenoir, North Carolina), born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Plexico and Louise Spearman Hinton; her husband Windell Doyle; and her grandson Paul Culton. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Doyle Lewis, Derrick Doyle, Steven Doyle (Tiffanie) and Brandon Aiken (Jenney); her sisters, Patricia Winstead, Helen McAdams and JoAnn Davenport; and her grandchildren, DJ Doyle, Brittany Doyle, Cameron Doyle, Alex Doyle, Corbin Doyle, Simeon Culton, Michaela Freeman, Naomi Aiken and Esther Aiken. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Lenoir Church of God (1786 Hickory Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
