He was predeceased by: his parent Essie Justice; and his sister Janice "Sissy" Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Janice Green Lingle; his children, Tony Watson (Becky) of Lenoir and Lisa Cox (Monty); his grandchildren, Alexis Coleman (Dustin), Austin Watson, Brooke Robbins and Drew Cox; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Brylee Coleman, Thatcher Robbins and Stetson Wright; and his brothers, Dale and Gary Lingle.
