He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard J. Cannon and Daisy Icenhour Cannon; and his sisters, Iva Lee Willingham, Chloe Presnell and Mevinia Conrad.
He is survived by: his sons, Keith Cannon of Lenoir and Jeffory Cannon of Hudson; the mother of his children Barbara G. Cannon of Hickory; his sister Ruby Hagaman of Boone; his granddaughter Brittany Cannon; and his great grandchild Adalynn Cannon.
