He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ivey and Betty Hollar Kirby; and his siblings, Kathy, Richard and Don Kirby.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Robertson Kirby; his sons, Dean and Todd; his grandchildren, Austin, Madeline, Sofia, Abby and Benjamin; and his sister Kay Shoemaker.
