He is survived by: his children, Teresa Starnes, Susan Starnes of Lenoir and Larry R. Starnes (Rebecca) of Hudson; his sister Gail Harris of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Stefanie Calderon (Daniel) of Hickory, Jessie Starnes of Hudson and Tyler Starnes of Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Lillie Starnes and Mia Calderon.
