It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Allen Powell of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Powell of Ellenboro and Barbara Huffman Powell of Glen Alpine; his fiancée Jenny Rothenberger; his daughter April Price of Hildebran; his brother John A. Powell of Glen Alpine; and his grandson Landon Whitaker.

Due to COVID-19, a Celebration of Life for Mr. Powell will be held at a later date.
