It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kimerely Renee Mattheis (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Whitesides and Vergie Howard Nosil; and her brother Curtis Edwin Whitesides. She is survived by: her husband Philip Aaron Mattheis; her children, Jeremy Neil Williams (Marcia) of Jacksonville, Kathrine Sidney Greene (Ben) of North Wilkesboro and Cassandra Issabella Mattheis of Lenoir; and her grandsons, Austin, Wyatt and Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial in Kim's honor be made to Promises of Hope in Granite Falls or Pet Partners of Lenoir.
