It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kermit Messer of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kermit Messer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Wood and Hester Brown Messer; and his wife Dorothy Messer. He is survived by: his son James Messer (Debbie) of Hickory; his sister Corrine Dula of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Jessica DeBerry (Michael) of Denver, NC, Kristen Dunn (Jad) of Taylorsville and Kurt Presnell of Hickory; and his great grandchildren, Davis, Taylor DeBerry, Kayden Presnell, Noelle Smith and Chris Lovins.
