He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Houston Clark and Zellah Clark; and his siblings, Ed Clark, Garfield Clark, Jeter Clark, Bobby Clark, Ruth Crotts and Anna Mae Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Kincaid Clark; his children, Kevin Clark (Susan) of Morganton and Kristie McAden (Michael) of New Bern; his sisters, Judy Berry (Bill) of Hildebran, Barbara Hamby (Doug) of Lenoir and Nancy Coffey of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Hannah Clark (Shane Prisby), Amelia Clark, Judson McAden (Rose) and Clark McAden; his stepgrandsons, Ty Dudley and Ian Dudley; and his great grandchildren, Lottie McAden and Wyeth Prisby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
