He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Brown and Cora Brown; his siblings, Eugene Brown, William Brown, Rosie Cleary, Tate Green, Eddie Wagoner, Novella Brown, Annabelle Wyatt and Ina Simmons; and his stepdaughter Nancy Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Trula Cox Brown; his daughter Connie Meyer (Rusty) of Hudson; his stepchildren, Andy Edwards of Burnsville, Clifford Edwards (Sandy) of Lenoir, Dana Edwards of Lenoir and Paula Watson of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Kailyn Hendrix (Gordon) and Darrian Vaught; and his stepgrandchildren, Wayne, Gene, Nikki, Brandy, Ashley, Bradley, Jamie, David, Ira, Clifford and Justin. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
