He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Wilburn Watson and MaryLee Chester Watson; and his sister Geraldyne Watson Griffin (Jeri). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Huntley Watson (Ginger); his daughters, Kimberly Watson Wright of Lewisville, NC and Rebecca Watson Clark (Daniel) of Lenoir; his grandsons, Joshua and Jeremy Wright of Lewisville, NC.; his stepgrandchildren, Chris Clark (Nicole) and Allison Clark of Maiden, NC; and his siblings, Sharon Watson Barlow (Harrison) of Lenoir and Fred Roger Watson of Clyde. He is also survived by his parents, sister and other family members.
The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made out to First United Methodist Church of Lenoir at 309 Church St. NW Lenoir, NC 28645.
