She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willard Tolbert and Doris Good Tolbert; her husband Dave Coffey; her son Nathan Coffey (Stephanie); her siblings, David Tolbert and Ada Curtis; and her granddaughter Sara Coffey.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
