He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hendrix and Effie Hendrix; his wife Vivian Hendrix; and his son Nick Hendrix. He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Plyler and Kathy Campbell; his daughter-in-law Lori Hendrix of Lenoir; and his grandchildren, Brandon Miller (Liane), Erica Hartley (Tracy), Charles Campbell (Britnye), Chris Campbell (Kristen), Brandi Hood (Josh), Matt Hendrix (Tabitha), Dylan Hendrix and Garrett Hendrix (Kalyn). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
